We all have our blind spots and can benefit from having an independent and neutral coach, free from the influence of internal politics, to help raise our self-awareness and focus our actions on achieving specific results.

My job is to help you reach your greatest potential. As such, I will provide you with ongoing candid and objective feedback. I focus on root-cause, facts, and evidence, not opinions and un-proven assumptions. As someone outside the organisation, I will tell you what you need to hear, and challenge and push you to higher levels of success.

How we work together

Coaching engagements are fixed-period development experiences with specific objectives. Unlike mentoring, coaching is proactive and intensely focused on changing behaviours and developing strengths. When we initially meet, we will create specific behavioural and skill objectives, metrics to measure progress, and agree on how to work together.

We will meet weekly by video or phone to discuss specific situations, challenges, and opportunities. Discussions can range from strategic decisions, increasing efficiency, resolving personnel issues, to tactics, such as preparing for key meetings, writing a report, or making specific decisions. I will also set assignments, and we will review progress against your objectives and accountabilities.

In addition to regular meetings, you will have unrestricted access to me by phone, email, and video. This can include reviewing work and may include access during non-business hours, upon prior agreement.
